We take immense pride in the quality and experience of our training staff and our Chief Instructor, Grand Master Dennis Guila. He is a veritable leader, holding a 9th-degree Red Belt.

Master Guila has spent over 52 remarkable years honing his skills and passing on that knowledge to countless students. But Grand Master Guila's credentials extend beyond the Dojo. He is a recipient of the 2009 World Masters Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Anaheim, CA., Awarded the Golden Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009, and in 2007, Inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, CA. He's a Combat-trained veteran of the United States Army. This means he brings to the table not just theoretical knowledge but practical, Christian based, real-world combat experience.

His teachings are, therefore, rooted in reality, offering students a unique blend of traditional martial arts techniques and practical self-defense strategies, in addition to Combat Sports Competition.

Under his expert tutelage, Maximus Martial Arts Academy & Combat Sports has seen multiple instructors achieve their certified black belts – a clear testament to his art and ability to inspire, guide, and cultivate excellence.
